Classroom Assistance and Mentoring

St. Paul’s is in partnership with the Norwalk International Academy at Norwalk High Schools that serves the needs of incoming refugee students. Fleeing the consequences of life in drug cartel, war-torn countries like Guatemala and Honduras, these teens have risked their lives to reach safety. Many have witnessed or been the victims of incredible violence. St. Paul’s members serve as tutors and companions as students learn English and develop math skills. Volunteers need not speak Spanish; nor do they need to have a formal teaching background. To learn more about this opportunity, or to sign up to help, click here.

Laundry Love

Laundry Love is a collaboration of several regional churches and organizations providing free laundry services for those in need. Although social distancing guidelines have changes the look of regular sessions, volunteers meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Giant Laundry in East Norwalk to brighten the lives of people through love, dignity, and detergent. Contact Marsha Dunn  admin@stpaulsnorwalk.org for more information or to volunteer.
