The group views this as a moral issue, and not a partisan one.

Observation & Rapid Response Training

Observation & Rapid Response is a community-based emergency system, sponsored by Stamford and Norwalk United With Immigrants (SNUI) that provides aid, documentation and support to immigrants facing a crisis, such as an ICE raid or detention. Past Immigration Action Meetings at St. Paul's:
March 28th No Kings Rally in Stamford:
Parishioners from St. Paul's served as marshals at the rally helping to maintain apeaceful gathering.
December 2 at 7pm, Bob Duff, Senate Majority Leader; and Melissa Murray of Indivisible and Good Trouble described successful strategies for legislative advocacy at the local and state levels.
November 25 at 7pm, St. Paul’s hosted a training on the The Red Folder Project, a practical way to directly prepare immigrants for potential detainment, as well as to support individuals and families afterwards. Speakers included Johann Lopez, Norwalk Common Council member and Convener of the Norwalk Immigration Network; and Catalina Samper-Horak, founder of Building One Community, Interim CEO of 4-CT and local advocate.
