This Week at St. Paul's

In-Person Morning Prayer begins this Friday
Fridays through May 31, 8 am
Beginning this Friday, April 26, gather in the church for a peaceful, reflective start to the day with a simple Morning Prayer service, led by parishioners and now offered in-person at St. Paul’s on Friday mornings at 8am. Morning Prayer also continues online on Facebook (Monday/Friday 8:30am) or Zoom (Tuesday/Thursday 8:30am).

Springtime Campus Cleanup
Saturday, April 27- 9:30 -11:30 am

To kick off Norwalk's Earth Day Celebration, there will be a campus clean-up at St. Paul's before the celebration on the Green. Grab your gardening gloves and gather in the parking lot for a fun morning of light weeding and mulch spreading.

Rite of Welcome this Sunday
Sunday, April 28 at 9 & 11 am

A few times during the year, both Sunday morning services include a "Rite of Welcome." This brief, but meaningful part of the service is an opportunity for folks who have been worshipping at St. Paul's to acknowledge that this is the community of faith they have chosen at this time.  Likewise, it gives the congregation an opportunity to acknowledge in prayer our desire and delight to have them be a part of the community.  If you would like to take part, or would just like some more information, please be in touch with Marsha Dunn in the parish office.

Blessing the New St. Cecilia Room
Sunday, April 28 at noon

This Sunday after the 11 am service, we will gather together in the new choir room to celebrate the choir and christen the new "St. Cecilia Room" and bless it and the choirs of  St. Paul's on the Green.

The Philadelphia Eleven- Another Chance to View
Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm - St. Matthew's Wilton

If you did not get a chance to attend the screening in Westport, (or you just need to see it again)  the documentary, The Philadelphia Eleven, which chronicles the challenges of the first female candidates  ordained by four Episcopal bishops at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia, PA on July 29, 1974, will be presented at St. Matthew's, Wilton on Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm. The film will be followed by a conversation, led by the Rev. Dr. Carter Haywood, one of the Philadelphia Eleven.

Hospitality Helpers Needed!

An important part of the "St. Paul's welcome" is the connection that is made at coffee hours, potlucks and special receptions.  This hospitality happens with the help of volunteer “hosts” to set up, serve and clean up. Please consider getting involved in this important ministry.  The commitment is small; the satisfaction and comradery is priceless!  For more information, see  Rosemary Dellinger or email the parish office.

Worship Online Directly from the St. Paul's Website
New changes to Facebook have made livestreaming services on that platform unreliable. All services and online events are now being livestreamed directly from the St. Paul's website. Use this LINK to worship online. Past services and other events can also be viewed on the St. Paul's YouTube Channel. *We are aware that the new streaming software is much more sensitive to sound.
