Mid-Day Music: Hilda Huang

Hilda Huang, pianist comes to St. Paul’s as part of a monthly series hosted by our nonprofit partner, Seabury Academy of Music and the Arts, Inc.

“Whoever says Hilda Huang must also say Bach.” Having won all of the major Bach Competitions by the age of 18, pianist Hilda Huang has presented Bach on the modern piano in recital at the Leipzig Gewandhaus, on film in Michael Lawrence’s documentary film /Bach and Friends/, and as soloist with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. In 2019 and 2020, she tours the Clavier-Übung 2 (Italian Concerto and French Overture) at San Francisco Noontime Concerts, the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, and at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, among others. She resides in New Haven, Conn.
