Ash Wednesday
March 6, 2019
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the 40 days we call Lent–a word which means “spring.” We will observe it with Solemn liturgies and the blessing and imposition of ashes which represent our belief in God’s grace even in the face of our failures. So “spring” into Lent with us at any of the following observances of this sacred day:
6-8:30am: “Ashes to Go,” South Norwalk Train Station
Busy day at work? Find Mother Louise Kalemkerian at the South Norwalk Train Station to receive ashes on your way to the train.
12:05pm: Holy Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes
A service of Holy Communion, with music led by the organ.
7:30pm: Solemn Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes
A service of Holy Communion led by our Choristers, Schola, and organ.
