A Timeline of the Contemporary Flute

Showcasing breakthrough 20th century works and thought-provoking pieces by living composers, Seabury Academy alumna and flutist Justine Stephens returns to explore the idiosyncrasies of a selection of contemporary repertoire for flute. Music is from the writing of Varèse, Ferneyhough, Berio, ter Veldhuis, and includes a world premiere by Miggy Torres.
