St. Paul’s Choir

St. Paul’s Choir provides musical leadership for the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Solemn Eucharists from the Sunday after Labor Day through Trinity Sunday, usually late May or early June. Additionally, the choir sings monthly Choral Evensong, as well as providing music for Holy Day services, such as Christmas Eve and Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. The choir’s repertoire spans over 500 years, including masterpieces of Renaissance polyphony, Classical and Romantic repertoire, and music through the 21st century. The choir sings a choral setting of the mass ordinary on special or festival occasions during the choir season.

The choir is anchored by 7 professional section leaders: Molly Netter, soprano; Natalie Kikkenborg, alto; Joseph Nogay, alto; Eric Barry, tenor; Scott Mello, tenor; Rodney Davis, bass; and Andrew Padgett, bass. Dexter “Tripp” Kennedy is the Organ Scholar. St. Paul’s Choir is joined for the Solemn Eucharist by the St. Paul’s Choristers.

Membership is open to all, though sight-reading skills are a must, as the choir sings a great deal of challenging repertoire. If you are interested in singing with St. Paul’s Choir, please contact Vincent Edwards, Director of Music via email or phone ( 203 847 2806 x14).
