Meet Jacqueline Nappi-Farrell

Hailing from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, Jacqueline Nappi-Farrell is an organist, harpsichordist, collaborative pianist, and choral director. She is most well known for her playing in early music, particularly on historical keyboards.
 The Wall Street Journal described her harpsichord playing during a performance at The Barn at Flintwoods in Wilmington, DE, and how with her touch, “the resonance became richer”, alluding to the sound and tone quality she is able to produce on this instrument, one of the hallmarks of her playing. 
​Jacqueline has performed as a soloist throughout the United States and also enjoys working as a collaborative musician. Her previous collaborations include the North Carolina Symphony, Duke Performances, Duke Chapel’s Bach Cantata Series, Duke University’s Dance Program, Noyes Dance summer workshop, North Carolina HIP Music Festival, Mallarmé Chamber Players, Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, UNC Chapel Hill’s Music Department, Boston Early Music Festival fringe concerts, numerous AGO concerts and workshops, and improvisations for yoga and silent film. 
​Jacqueline is a recent graduate of the Yale School of Music and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music with a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance. She  holds an additional Master of Music degree in Harpsichord Performance from SUNY Stony Brook and a Bachelor of Music degree from The Hartt School.
Before beginning her studies at Yale, Jacqueline was Dean of the Durham-Chapel Hill Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and on the Board of Directors for the Mallarmé Chamber Players. Besides music, Jacqueline enjoys participating in Triathlons and learning languages, her favorites being Spanish, German, and French.
